A panel on the right of the screen during hero selection and strategy time. It is gone once the match starts. Menu: Other › draft advisor.
Picks. Every hero still available is scored against the live draft: how it does against the enemy picks, what your team still lacks (a stun, a save, initiation, wave clear and so on), how it pairs with your picks, which position is still open, and its win rate in your bracket. The five best are listed with a portrait, the win rate, a bar measured against the top pick, and the terms that earned the score, for example counters Invoker, open at offlane.
Bans. Three heroes that beat your picks or win too often in your bracket, each with its reason.
Data. Win and pick rates for two brackets (Crusader to Legend, Ancient and up), every hero's matchups against every other and results per lane, from OpenDota, for patch 7.41 and all 127 heroes. When the file is more than a day old, the bracket win rates are refreshed once at the start of the draft; that single request can be switched off.
Options. Bracket, show bans, and auto-pick the top hero, which is off by default.
The recommended pick can be shown as the board, as notifications, or both: Misc > draft advisor > Show as. The notification names the pick with its hero icon and reason and goes away once your pick is in.
